Outset

I've been a photographer since I was about 8, never quite losing it but centering on it episodicaly since then. Most of this work is unrecoverable because the media supporting it became opsolete. Some exists in physical form, but is difficult to share unless you happen on it in person. Hundreds of slides and negatives, not to mention Polaroids. For the past 15 or so years I've been making cards somewhat reflecting each year and sending them out as greeting cards to friends and family. Some of those images are included on this site, at least for now, because they were already prepared for screen or print. As things progress, depending on how long I occupy this mortal coil, more previously seen ones will be posted. And to be doing this in the light of the current mass extinction or life on earth and American democracy feels bizarre and ironic. Kurt Vonnegut might say at this point. "Oh well...". Any feedback you may have is appreciated.
